About

Inspiring, Challenging, Supporting.

Caister Academy is an 11 – 16 school, predominantly serving the village of Caister-on-Sea and the area to the north of Great Yarmouth, although pupils are welcome to apply for a place from across the town. We are a small non-selective academy and are part of the growing Creative Education Trust (CET).

Our mission is to develop the full potential of every pupil, enabling them to be the best they can be. The academy has a growing reputation for success and has become increasingly popular in the local community. We pride ourselves on getting the very best out of all our pupils and firmly believe this begins with the basic principles of being smart, punctual, courteous and equipped to learn. High standards of behaviour and attendance are an essential ingredient to success.

We believe every child is unique and can be successful and we have high expectations of all. The education opportunities we provide allow every child to make the best possible progress whilst at Caister Academy and prepares them well for the next stage of their life.

As well as challenging and inspiring all pupils to aim high and be the best they can be, we support them. Pastoral care is a priority, our dedicated non-teaching pastoral team ensuring all students are valued and included. Pupils at Caister Academy enjoy being part of a close community; they take advantage of the excellent facilities, joining in the many extra-curricular activities on offer and build close relationships with fellow peers and staff. Pupil voice is important to us and the pupils at Caister Academy tell us they feel safe and secure and are proud of their school and its achievements.

Everything we do, every decision we make has pupils and their best interests at the centre. We want them to thrive and succeed at Caister Academy and become well rounded, courteous, compassionate and ambitious individuals, ready to take on the demands of an ever changing world.

Come and see for yourselves, meet our pupils, meet our staff and have a look at our outstanding facilities.
