CPR Training

East of England ambulance service visited Caister Academy over three days to train pupils how to administer hands only CPR.

In the UK there are over 30,000 cardiac arrests a year outside of hospital so this skill for anyone witnessing a cardiac arrest, or finding a victim, can to help save a life.

Mr Lynskey, a paramedic and parent of a pupil at Caister Academy, arranged for himself and colleagues from the East of England ambulance service to go into the school and train over 600 pupils in the three days.

Pupils really took on board the information and now the community has over 600 new potential lifesavers.
