Assemblies take place once a week and are led by a variety of Caister Academy staff and external guests such as alumni, the police and youth workers. During assemblies’ students may be informed about environmental issues updated on key safeguarding issues within the school or inspired by the careers of our ex-students.   

Form time takes place every morning for twenty minutes and is an integral part of the wellbeing systems at Caister. Tutors and their Tutor group come together for 1 hour every fortnight to work through topics such as PSHE themes, Careers and work experience, and progress following reports being issued. Every student has a designated form tutor with whom they start each day and form a strong relationship with.  Form time sessions cover a variety of areas including guided reading, discussions around current affairs and revision skills.
