Our Art and Design Technology departments took year 10 & 11’s on a trip to visit some of the London Galleries, pupils visited the Science Museum, The Natural History Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum. All were free explore the different exhibits around each of the Museums, this was invaluable as they were able to obtain the essential photographs they need within their respective projects. Everyone were particularly impressed with the Dinosaur skeletons in the Natural History museum, it was very exciting to see such wonderfully preserved fossils and skeletons.
The day would not be complete without a traffic jam or two and it took the coach two hours to get out of the centre of London due to the various Climate strikes that were taking place. Although it was slightly frustrating it was good for pupils to see young people coming together and standing up for their future on the topic of Climate Change.
