Fifty Caister Academy pupils headed out of school for a German lesson with a difference.
The year 10’s travelled to Langley Senior School in Loddon to see a play by the Onatti theatre company performed completely in German.
The hour long comedy was about two feuding sisters, one trying to get ready for a date and the other annoying her – and one pupil, Jack, even took to the stage and joined in the show.
The pupils voted the play a great success, commenting that they found it easy to understand and very funny.
Their teacher Mrs Wood said: “They were incredibly well behaved throughout the trip. Some were worried that they would not be able to understand what was going on but their excellent German language skills meant that they could access the whole story. We’d like to say a big thank you to Langley Senior School for providing us with this free opportunity to watch such an excellent performance.”
