I became Assistant Principal for Attendance and Interventions in September 2022 having worked as Director of Curriculum Development at Caister Academy since 2020.  

Our attendance target for all students is 98%. 

This level of attendance will enable students to make the best possible progress and will therefore have a direct impact on their future. 

As an Attendance Team, our united focus is to support students and parents by working together to address any in-school barriers, along with celebrating ongoing success and rewarding students for improved attendance.

I joined Caister Academy as Attendance Administrator in February 2023 and am delighted to be a part of Caister’s attendance team.  

You will see me within Caister Academy daily engaging with parents and students. You might speak to me on the phone as I am the first contact in the attendance office. 

Job satisfaction in this role comes from seeing young people excelling and having the opportunity to be happy with everything they have achieved when they leave education. I really enjoy supporting students within the academy to remain in school and arrive at their lessons on time. I also enjoy celebrating student attendance success by having a fundamental role in student rewards.
